For some reason the entire surprise concept has just been so overdone offlate that you would expect people to not fall for surprises anymore.. especially when its around their birthday.. And yet I fell for my surprise totally! For both of them (go on.. laugh at me.. I've never been much of a bright kid.. especially at putting two and two together)
It was totally 'wunnerful' though and I'm not one of those people who take immense pleasure in piecing their surprise together and finding out about it.. I like to be shocked out of my wits (the way I was) and I love planning surprises too!!
On the same note, I have to tell you about my dad ruining my surprise, a couple of years ago, asking me the eve before my birthday.. 'so why again do your friends want to come home at an unearthly hour like 6 in the morning?'.. as you can see he's really not much of a morning person!
